Welcome to the HRYB Fall 2021 Volunteer registration site.  We thank you for choosing to participate in the lives of the youth of Herndon.  Please answer all of the questions on the volunteer registration page.  Someone from the HRYB board will contact you to follow up on whatever position you decide to volunteer for.

During our Fall 2021 season we are looking for volunteers in the following areas:

    Elected Board Member

    Manager
    Assistant Coach
    Field Maintenance:  League Leads, Team Leads, Team Worker
    Team Parent
    Fundraising:  League Leads, Team Leads, Team Worker
    School representative (disseminate information to your school on behalf of the league)

Welcome to the HRYB Fall 2021 umpire registration site.  We thank you for registering as an umpire.  All umpires must be a minimum 11 years of age or currently in 5th grade.  Adults are welcome too! No experience is necessary for our entry level umpires, and you will be assigned to games at your level of experience or lower as opportunities arise. You will be contacted for pre-season training and notified of upcoming events for umpires shortly.

Please note:  if you earn more than $600 per year with any of the Herndon Optimist umpiring and refereeing programs, you will need to provide your social security number so that we can report your earnings to the federal government, as is required.
