Welcome to Bat-a-thon®
2003
Bat-a-Thon®,
our annual fundraiser and hitting tournament took place on Saturday, May
17.
This year was our largest Bat-a-Thon ever, with 36 teams participating.
All organizations and individuals who donate $100 or more will be listed
on this page as an official HOYB Bat-a-thon sponsor. Sponsors get a
link to their website and phone number listed (if desired). Check
out the Bat-a-thon 2002 archived
page to view last years sponsors and winners.
This year's Grand Prize winner of the Alex Rodriquez
autographed bat is Bryan Wish of the
Minor
League Orioles. Bryan raised a Bat-a-thon record 1,081 Sponsor
Points! Individually, Bryan out-raised every single team in the entire
program (apart from his own team of course). Wow! Way to go, Bryan!

Team Prizes for Sponsor Points & Batting
The teams that obtain the highest number of
sponsor points from each competing division will go to the Orioles
vs. Phillies game on June 28th at 7:05 p.m. The teams that score the highest number of
batting points within each competing division on Bat-a-Thon
Tournament Day will also go to the Orioles vs. Phillies game!
Winning teams must have at least nine (9) players present and
batting at the Bat-a-Thon Tournament and must obtain at least 300
sponsor points to be eligible (no ties).
