Welcome to Bat-a-thon®
2007
Bat-a-Thon®,
our annual fundraiser and hitting tournament took place on Saturday, May
19.
This year 36 teams participated in our best event ever!
Our Special Grand Prize
Winner... The Grand Prize winner of the autographed bat of
All-Star Boston Red Sox outfielder Manny Ramirez is
Darren Bolduc of the Major American Angels.
Darren raised
over 300 sponsor points!
The 1st Place Runner-up for Sponsor Points was Lucas White,
Majors American Athletics (285 points). The 2nd Place Runner-up for
Sponsor Points was Zach McIntyre, Majors American Red Sox
(230 points).
Last year we instituted a new award called the Commissioners
Trophy Award. It was awarded to Parker Hill and Nathan
Vellayan for Bat-a-Thon Lifetime Achievement. Both boys have
raised over 1,700 sponsor points during the years that they have
participated in our program. That is over $9,000 raised by each
player! Outstanding!!
All organizations and individuals who donate $100 or more will be
listed on this page as an official HOYB Bat-a-thon sponsor. Sponsors
get a link to their website and phone number listed (if desired).
