Welcome to Bat-a-thon® 2008

Bat-a-Thon®, our annual fundraiser and hitting tournament will take place on Saturday, May 17.

Our Special Grand Prize Winner... Last year, the Grand Prize winner of the autographed bat of All-Star Boston Red Sox outfielder Manny Ramirez was Darren Bolduc of the Major American Angels. Darren raised over 300 sponsor points!

The 1st Place Runner-up for Sponsor Points was Lucas White, Majors American Athletics (285 points). The 2nd Place Runner-up for Sponsor Points was Zach McIntyre, Majors American Red Sox (230 points).

Two years ago, we instituted a new award called the Commissioners Trophy Award. It was awarded to Parker Hill and Nathan Vellayan for Bat-a-Thon Lifetime Achievement. Both boys have raised over 1,700 sponsor points during the years that they have participated in our program. That is over $9,000 raised by each player! Outstanding!!

All organizations and individuals who donate $100 or more will be listed on this page as an official HOYB Bat-a-thon sponsor. Sponsors get a link to their website and phone number listed (if desired). Check out the Bat-a-thon 2007 archived page to view last years sponsors and winners.
